Okay... I know I said it'd be a few weeks, then we'd do an update about my birthday party... you've got no idea, absolutely ZERO, idea of how busy a two year old can be. This summer has been completely crazy! The month of July, the four of us (mom, dad, me and Kyle) had a bit of time to spend all together. We went up to the waterslides almost every Saturday and Thursday afternoon. I was a little scared at first, but then by the end of the second day, I couldn't get enough. Dad and I would fly down the slides while mom and Kyle played in the water at the bottom. They have some smaller slides and I got to go on those all by myself. Next year, I'll be big enough that I can go on the intermediate slides by myself, too!

And a car show!

We also to go to the park for Canada Day. Mom and dad, me and Kyle and wore red and white and got to do lots of fun things. We watched puppet shows and fed ducks! I love birds, any type of birds, and ducks... are birds!

When August started up, it was insane. All my aunts and uncles and cousins on my mom's side came up as a surprise for my Grandpa's birthday. Did you know he's really old? He's 52 years older than me. You do the math. Happy birthday, Grandpa! I had a lot of fun with Sena and Soren. We got to go up to Davison's and ride on the tractor, and play on the slide. We also went to the waterslides!

After they all went home, uncle Les and auntie Linda came for a visit from Grande Prairie. We went for a hike up at Silver Star. Mom kept talking about how incredible the view was, but I was too busy watching bikers go down ramps to pay attention to anything else. We enjoyed a really yummy lunch up there, too!

A few days after they left, Uncle Tim came up, again. Grandpa's store was moving to a new building (which dad renovated, and it looks
really good!) so Uncle Tim came to help with the move. I used to be scared of Uncle Tim, but not anymore. Not since he taught me how to drink my milk from the bottom of my cereal bowl. Now I drink everything from a bowl. Uncle Tim is really neat.

Now everyone's gone home and we're starting to settle back into our usual lives. Not for long though. My Auntie Pam is getting married in Vegas in a month, and I'm going to be in the wedding. Mom and I practiced how to walk down the aisle today. I'm going to be awesome.
